AssetNexus was the initial brainchild of Andrew Cuthbert. Andrew had had the traumatic experience when he was young of loosing his father who was electrocuted in a freak farming accident when only 31. Andrew was 6 when he lost his dad and he remembers vividly the issues his mother had faced during the inquest and probate processes
In 2018, 30 years later Andrew a father of 4 himself had wondered how he might change the experience of those similarly bereaved. He wondered if the process could have been different than the one his own mum had experienced and he set out on the conceptualisation of the firm that would become AssetNexus.
The idea would have perhaps gone nowhere bar for Andrew meeting Roger Mulligan LLB. Roger had been working in the legal profession for a number of years being on route to qualification as a Solicitor. discontented with the industry and having heard Andrew’s story and the roadmap Andrew had designed Roger chose to leave his former profession for a life in technology. Roger brought with him a legal side view ofthe profession, he proceeded to work with former peers and experts in the field to add the legal elements required to make the platform bring the benefits it was intended to the consumer.
Gavan Wall LLB became involved in the venture through meeting the pair and using his own legal & business knowledge to assess the viability of the project before doing so. Gavan brought with him an extensive legal network and the opportunity to pilot the platform for the first time.
Now the team has been bolstered, two years in we have begun to supply services to legal practices on a commercial basis and we intend to build on initial success long into the future.
